Course Rules & Etiquette
Dress Code
The Staff of Alberta Beach Golf Resort welcomes you to the Resort and trust
you will enjoy our course and Club Facilities. We ask that you help us to build
and preserve the great game of golf by maintaining an acceptable standard of
dress at all times on Club property.
By this we mean:
FOR MEN:
Tailored slacks or shorts.
Collared shirts (including crew and turtleneck) with sleeves.
FOR WOMEN:
Tailored slacks, shorts or skirts.
Sleeveless tops should have a collar or tops without collars should have
sleeves.
GENERAL:
Minimum length shorts for men and shorts/skirts for women should be
approximately midthigh.
Clothing must be neat, clean and presentable.
The Club acknowledges that golf fashions change over time and the Dress
Code recognizes that any recognizable golf attire is acceptable attire.
PROHIBITED DRESS:
Athletic or team jerseys, workout clothing, including but not limited to
gym/jogging shorts, cutoffs, sweatpants/shorts, tracksuits, Blue jeans.
T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, and tops with objectionable
prints, symbols and /or cartoon caricatures, or tops that leave the midriff exposed.
Course Etiquette
- Replace divots
- Repair ball marks
- Rake sand traps
- Observe dress code
- Obey course marshal
- Maximum of two (2) people per power cart
- Maximum of four (4) players per group
- All carts must be kept on the cart path
- Slow players must allow faster players to play through
- Only alcoholic beverages purchased from the golf course may be consumed on the premises
Local Rules
- Planted or staked trees - Free drop one club length no closer to hole
- Carts must remain fifty (50) feet from greens
- Two (2) minutes maximum to search for lost balls per hole
- Fences and white stakes indicate out of bounds
- Yellow stakes indicate a water hazard
